Mono 7

This piece was inspired by the cutout forms Matisse famously explored. I worked with acetate cutouts, using both the shapes themselves and the negative spaces left behind to create compelling contrasts. The work speaks to a sense of liberation—figures seem to emerge from constraint, as if breaking free from the very acetate that once defined them, moving toward freedom and joy.
