Mono 5

I began this process using a cutout of my own image along with additional acetate shapes, which I inked in contrasting shades of orange and green. After preparing the plate, I added texture by scratching into the surface, daubing it with bubble wrap, and experimenting with various mark-making techniques. This monoprint is actually a ghost print—the second impression pulled from the same plate. After printing the first version, I repositioned the acetates slightly, allowing subtle traces of the original image to remain. The resulting print features finer, more delicate marks that add depth and visual interest to the composition.
